For me, the Cono Sur experience…
Has been an incredible experience, with constant challenges and growth, together with professional development.

I’ve been working for Cono Sur since…
November 2003.

My job consists in…
I’m Winemaking Manager, and as such I have to define the volumes of each one of our wines. Part of my job consists of finding the best grapes. I also have to make sure that each vineyard’s management is what Cono Sur needs, define the precise harvesting moment, produce the wines together with the rest of the oenological team, and define each wine’s unique personality.
Also, I present in Chile and abroad, our wines, together with the concept and philosophy Cono Sur Winery.

Over this time, I’ve specially enjoyed…
Working on a team full of passion, energy and dynamism, where there’s a true commitment to the environment, high quality demands, and permanent innovation in every area. This last point means that one is constantly experimenting and acquiring knew knowledge.

My all time Cono Sur favourite wine is…
That’s a very tough choice… I think I have a favorite Cono Sur for every occasion… but if I had to chose, I’d stick with Cono Sur 20 Barrels Sauvignon Blanc.

Because…
It’s tremendously special, different to any other Sauvignon Blanc; it’s elegant, expressive, with fresh fruit, subtle and complex aromas. Extremely mineral, with a big mouth, but also very refreshing, with an exquisite and natural acidity… it’s a unique wine.
Every time I drink it, it reminds me of the vineyard… of how special the terroir is, of our worker’s commitment, all of which permits us to enjoy its excellent quality.

And would love to drink it…
With seafood, hopefully nn a beach, at sunset, with my wife.

A little about myself…
I’m married, I’ve got three kids, two girls and a boy… I really like family life, together with nature, especially going to the south of Chile. I love to climb hills, ride my bike and camp where there’s no civilization.

When I’m not working, I enjoy…

Barbequing with my friends, talking and just having a good time.
