The Cono Sur experience… has been amazing. Since I was a small boy I’ve wanted to work in a winery, but I was far from imagining that I would do so, and in such a great work environment, with very high quality standards and with co-workers that rapidly would turn into great friends. It’s incredible how a small group of staff, thanks to their talent and effort, can have fun at work while also growing to be the second exporting winery in Chile, in such a short period of time.
I’ve been working in Cono Sur since… June 2nd 2008
My job consists of… I am management and control analyst and my job consists of preparing monthly management reports, reviewing our finances and each one of our areas of work, and the evaluation of new businesses.
I really like it that my area of work lets me interact with the different teams, and therefore acquire a constant global view of how things develop inside the company.
During this time I’ve specially enjoyed… sharing and learning with a very talented and professional group of people, who as time has gone by have also become people very dear to me. The great working environment you breathe in Cono Sur, together with everyone’s support is very unique, and it has helped me do a good job, and to overcome with joy some very tough moments that sadly I’ve gone through lately.
My favourite Cono Sur is… Cono Sur 20 Barrels Limited Edition Cabernet Sauvignon.
Because… I like this Cabernet mainly because of its great body, its exquisite aroma and because it reflects the best features of this variety. Together with Cono Sur Ocio Pinot Noir, this is definitely one of Cono Sur’s emblematic wines.
And I love drinking it… When I’m in the kitchen, cooking something special. That way I can drink it with different flavour and aroma combinations, next to a good conversation with my girlfriend or friends.
A bit more about me… When I’m not at work I really enjoy being with my family and friends. I also like doing all sorts of things outdoor… I’m a big fan of surfing and jogging in the beach: the beach and sports fulfil my life. Always the perfect activity for me will be to be with the people I love.
And of course there are no words to describe the great football team we’ve put together here in Cono Sur!
