The Cono Sur experience… I’ve worked at Cono Sur for over 4 years. It has been a very positive experience, both professionally and personally speaking. I have learned a lot about the wine world – about its production process and how important the image is in the final product. Personally, I have meet awesome people and made very good friends.
I’ve been working in Cono Sur since… October 2005.
My job consists of… Designing and creating images and products for Cono Sur. Mainly, I have to design ads, brochures, graphics for wine exhibitions, labels and other graphic products.
During this time I have specially enjoyed… Working among young people and being constantly motivated by new challenges and striving for innovation. I value the solidarity, concern and empathy a lot, both in Cono Sur and Concha y Toro, which is something I could see after the earthquake occurred in February. During that time, I noted a deep concern for all the people that work here and also for their families.
My favourite Cono Sur is… Cono Sur Reserva Viognier.
Because… Is refreshing and aromatic. It is also a very particular flavor, different, and frutal, something that I like a lot.
And I love drinking it… As an aperitif with some friends or family, during a warm sunny day.
A Little bit more about me… I was born and studied in Viña del Mar, one of the most beautiful cities in Chile. Every weekend I can, I go there to relax and see my family and some friends. I studied Graphic Design at the Universidad Católica de Valparaíso.
Before coming to Cono Sur, I worked in several design offices. I like everything related with esthetics, such as photography, painting and decoration. I love and enjoy cooking and trying new recipes very much, always listening to good music, which also accompanies me every day at work.
When I’m not working I enjoy… Spending time with my boyfriend and with my girl friends, sharing with my family, and above all my nephews. I like doing exercise like pilates, which I practice regularly and jogging, but with the arrival of autumn and the cold temperatures it is getting really hard!

What is special about working as a designer in the wine world?
As a designer it has been very enriching to work for a winery that is constantly innovating and that has been characterized as having a young and modern image. This has allowed me to use my creativity and my sense of esthetic in all Cono Sur image, either in something big like a stand for a wine fair or in something small as a label.
Which would you say are the main challenges you have in your work?
Creativity, creativity and more creativity!
