Cono Sur Wines Score High in Wine Spectator Magazine

Three Cono Sur wines were awarded 90 points and above in Wine Spectator Magazine recently.

Cono Sur Ocio Pinot Noir 2009 received high recognition in September’s Wine Spectator Magazine by scoring 91 points. Ocio, known as one of the best Pinot Noirs in Chile, is Cono Sur’s iconic wine. James Molesworth described it as “really fresh and pure, with lacy-textured but very persistent black cherry, currant and fig notes all supported by black tea, iron and briar hints.”

Cono Sur 20 Barrels Limited Edition Sauvignon Blanc 2009 and 20 Barrels Limited Edition Syrah 2008 both received 90 points in the magazine. This is a wonderful achievement for both, but especially for the Syrah, the most recently incorporated variety in Cono Sur’s 20 barrels Limited Edition range. Released only in January of this year, the variety continues to receive excellent feedback.
