Cono Sur Visión Merlot 2006
"It is the Cono Sur Visión 2006 than caught my attention. Thick and juicy with black cherry, minty herbs and spicy oaks on the nose. The rich, earthy fruits on the palate are backed up by notes of expresso, tar and tobacco flavours."

Visión Single Vineyard Merlot
This Merlot comes from Colchagua Valley, one of Chile’s most privileged origins. It’s a very dark red wine that screams intensity. Its nose presents black cherry aromas, with notes of pepper, coffee and sweet oak hints. Cono Sur Visión Single Vineyard Merlot has a full and very concentrated mouth, with ripe tannins and a marvellous structure. Definitely a velvety and elegant wine.
Food Pairing
This is a very versatile wine, ideal to be served with roasted meats, cheeses, pastas and dry fruits. A few suggestions are rosemary pork chops, fillet stroganoff, lentils and tomatoes soup, and pasta with vegetables.
