Visión Single Vineyard Riesling 2009

This Riesling – with its beautiful and clean medium yellow colour with green hues – is one of the southernmost wines in the world. Clean cut, sharp and distinct notes of citrus – lemon, lime and grapefruit – mingle in with quince and white flower touches. In mouth it is fresh, balanced, and full bodied. Fruity flavours, light grass notes along with mineral complexity round up this lovely, elegant and unique wine. Great, with a strong personality.

Food Pairing

Delicate and elegant wine. It’s an excellent wine to serve with equally refined dishes like caviar, foie gras, smoked salmon, almost every single shell-fish species (shrimp, crab and lobster) and white meats. It’s also a very good choice for vegetarian or oriental dishes, ideally Thai, and sweet or savoury recipes that include fruits: duck à l´orange, prunes wrapped in bacon, apple pie. Riesling is a good companion for mild cheeses such as Colby, Edam or Gouda.
