Cono Sur presents successful Masterclass with The Drinks Business in Tokyo

As part of its fine wines strategy, Viña Cono Sur carried out a successful tour across key Asian markets: Japan, South Korea, and China.

The masterclass—organized in collaboration with the renowned British media outlet The Drinks Business—was led by Matías Ríos, Cono Sur’s Director of Winemaking, alongside Noriko Nakamura, a prominent figure in the world of wine and Champagne Personality of the Year 2024. She is also a certified wine educator and a member of the Japan Sommelier Association.

During the session, three lines from Cono Sur’s portfolio were presented: Ocio, Single Vineyard, and 20 Barrels. The main focus was on showcasing the evolution of Ocio, highlighting its shift to the San Antonio Valley starting with the 2021 vintage.

The event brought together 41 guests and was marked by a high level of engagement and enthusiasm, strengthening Viña Cono Sur’s positioning in the Asian market and reinforcing its ongoing commitment to delivering world-class winemaking experiences.
