Silencio 2013, Chile's Best Red Wine

Silencio Cabernet Sauvignon 2013, was the big winner of the Latin American Wine Guide, being the only wine to obtain 95 points, the highest score of the publication. The guide, that seeks to highlight and promote the best Latin American wines, will be launched internationally this 2019.

Alistair Cooper, English wine consultant and Master of Wine since 2017, was commissioned to evaluate 896 wines from Chile, Brazil, Uruguay and Argentina. Cooper is also part of the jury in the Decanter World Wine Awards and the International Wine Challenge since 2018, and president of the Catad’Or Wine Awards jury, which is now 24 years old and is the oldest contest in Latin America.
