Viña Cono Sur receives outstanding scores in the Chile Special Report 2026 by Tim Atkin MW

Renowned British critic Tim Atkin annually evaluates the country’s leading producers, recognizing quality, consistency, and a strong sense of origin.

Within the 20 Barrels range, Pinot Noir 2023 achieved 94 points, a score that reaffirms the winery’s leadership in this variety, while Sauvignon Blanc 2025 and Syrah 2022 obtained 93 points each.

Single Vineyard Riesling 2025, sourced from the Bío Bío Valley, stood out with 94 points, demonstrating excellence in crafting white wines of remarkable freshness and aromatic expression.

 

Other Cono Sur portfolio lines also received notable scores: Organic Pinot Noir 2024 achieved 91 points, while Organic Cabernet Sauvignon | Carmenere | Syrah were awarded 90 points.

 

Meanwhile, Bicicleta Viognier 2025 and Gewürztraminer 2025 earned 90 points, standing out for their aromatic profile and freshness.
